The innovation path addresses women innovators aged 25 and up. It focuses on the possible ‘routes to job’ for women who have been through alternative professional training, ranging from self–made to more traditional career paths. This has been a research-focused series of modules involving collecting the testimonies of women innovators and proposes some adaptations and learning modules to foster collaborations that help women become better equipped for participation in innovation ecosystems.
Through this process, we can better understand the needs of communities that explore, network, mentor and encourage women; these are translated into workshops and activities carried out in areas of the shemakes project dedicated to business engagement and community engagement. In this section of our learning paths, we provide some information on the tools created and how to replicate them in your area.
