Short Bio
Irene Caretti, designer and maker. She graduated in industrial design at Isia Roma Design. During her studies she got close to the maker community and in 2018 she attended Fabricademy at TextileLab Amsterdam.
Since 2019 she has been working with Fondazione Mondo Digitale as a trainer of digital fabrication, bio materials and coding.
She’s an enthusiastic maker with the passion for craftsmanship, such as weaving, knitting and embroidery. Always researching the intersection between crafts and new technologies, bringing attention towards a more sustainable future.
